I'm joined by my friend Daniel Maté (@DanielBMate), who co-wrote and recently published a new book with his father Gabor Maté titled, “The Myth of Normal: Trauma, Illness, and Healing in a Toxic Culture”. We talk about the inevitability of childhood struggles, and how to work to overcome these hurdles in adulthood, as well as the role our environment plays in mental and physical health.
